1KA Survey Invitation System
What is it?
The 1KA survey invitation system is a complex system, which needed a total UX redesign. It encompasses 3 channels: Generation of individual codes, generation of individual URLs and generation and distribution of email invites, the last of which is by far the most important. The design included multiple “new invitation” flows based on the selected channel, as well as a number of pages for tracking the progress of your invites and the activity of your invitees. The design presented a real challenge, as the system is complex as it is, but additionally, certain features and design choices were dictated by the previous design, so the already collected data (invitation histories) would be compatible with the new design.
Who's it for?
The design was created for the 1KA web survey platform.
My role
I inherited the design from another UX designer at 1KA, who wrote a 96-page master’s thesis about redesigning this system. The boss wasn’t satisfied with the design, so he tasked me with it instead, and I continued where he left off. Even though the first design was already created when I got brought in, this project was my longest at 1KA.
